Rugby St Andrews 0 - 31 Alcester
Alcester kept a hold of their top league position with a bonus point victory over Rugby St Andrews, 31-0 on Saturday.
Harry Wylie opened the scoring for the visitors on the ten-minute mark, which opened the flood gate as Alcester applied the pressure but two consecutive efforts were held up over the line.
Alcester then missed a penalty kick, before Rugby St Andrews were shown a yellow card for a high tackle offence.
Alcester didn't capitalise with the extra man but they did eventually add a try to the scoreboard courtesy of Max Biltcliffe to take it to 10-0 at half time.
The red and blacks made an easier shift of the second half scoring early on through Ollie Hopkins, followed by another from Biltcliffe, before Mark Burrell raced over the whitewash.
Despite going down to 13 men with two yellow cards in the closing stages, Alcester were able to keep a clean sheet.
Next week, the 1st XV have a well deserved rest before taking on Southam at Kings Coughton the week after.
