Finance Manager / Treasurer
To manage the club finances, contribute to strategic planning and review and recommend financial policies for the club to ensure that the clubs’ finances are sensible and secure.
Key aspects of the role
- Lead on all financial issues.
Plan and monitor a budget each year.
Produce accounts for each management meeting.
Produce with the accountants a full set of year end accounts.
- Manage financial transactions, subscriptions and contracts.
Prepare and submit VAT returns and any tax returns
Renew insurances annually
Along with the Rugby manager monitor subscription receipts.
- Monitor Commercial Activities.
Working with the commercial manager monitor club hire, catering arrangements and ensure all correct documentation is obtained. Ensure
Timely payments are received from these activities.
