Silhillians 2^nd XV vs Alcester 2^nd XV – Match Abandoned

Alcester’s visit to Silhillians was abandoned in the final quarter of the game, owing to what looked to be a serious injury to Alcester’s AJ Bennett. Thankfully after laying on the pitch awaiting an ambulance for some time and then following medical attention, he was able to get back on his feet.

The home side, who were able to choose from a strong squad against Alcester’s bare fifteen players, were well ahead at the time the game was called early, with the visitors scoreless, despite plenty of endeavour.

Alcester 2nds have one final outing of the season on Saturday, when like the 1^st XV, they also play their Old Leamingtonians counterparts for a 3pm kick off.
