Alcester RFC

Alcester lost out to a strong Shipston side who followed up their big win over Stratford last weekend with another comprehensive win.

The home side was once again able to call on a large squad of players allowing skipper Luke Spencer a chance to rotate his troops to ensure game time for all.

Alcester battled bravely throughout and made a real game of it but in the end was no match for Shipton. They did get the score their performance deserved through an AJ Bennett try.

Alcester 2nds are back in league action next weekend when they play hosts to Daventry 3rds.
