Harry Wright – Alcester RFC

Former Alcester junior, Harry Wright, who got picked up by the academy system aged 16, has just returned from a training camp with England under 20s, having been selected for the under 20s Six Nations squad by coach Andy Titterrell.

Wright, who made his England under 18 debut last season, and played for England under 19s against Wales just before Christmas, signed professional terms with Gloucester last year.

His family connections to Alcester remain as his elder brother, Lewis, scored in Alcester’s 1st XV win over Camp Hill at the weekend, while Harry will find out later in the month, whether he will make the Six Nations line up, ahead of England under 20s opener against Wales at Northampton’s Franklins Gardens on Friday 6th February, kick off 7.45pm.
